GMS - Balrog (NORMAL mode) [HD] High Definition video

Here is, as promised, the video of my Balrog run on GMS.

So, this is the NORMAL mode. That means that it's for levels 50-200 and it allows from 6 to 15 people in the squad.
EASY mode only is for levels 50-70 and only allows from 3 to 6 people.

The Balrog run, as you can see (it wasn't easy to record clips for EVERY stage!) is formed by four phases:

In the first phase, you can't deal damage to Balrog until around 19:59 minutes. That's a test of Mu Young: if you deal enough damage in those 10 minutes you will be able to fight Balrog, if you don't you will get booted out at 19:59.

The second phase starts after 19:59 minutes, and you'll notice it because a message will pop up and the HP bar will appear. From now on, you'll start dealing actual damage to the Balrog.

The third phase starts when Balrog has around 45% left and a second message pops up, just like the first phase. The only difference of the third phase is that Balrog can now cast Damage Reflection for both Weapon and Magic attacks. That means that every time you will attack him during the Damage Reflection skill, you will get back around 80% of the damage you dealt, and you'll most likely die. Be careful: when the third phase starts, don't attack until the end of the first Damage Reflection! Balrog's Damage Reflection has a cooldown of ONE MINUTE, so you can keep attacking it after Damage Reflection expires for around 1 more minute (probably A LITTLE less). After 1 minute from the last Damage Reflection, the Balrog will most likely cast another one, and so on. Again, remember to be careful here!

The fourth phase starts when Balrog has 10% HP left. There will be no messages to notice you of this, so be careful here as well! From then until the end of the run, he will start casting Zombify, so all the Clerics/Priests/Bishops MUST NOT HEAL! The effect of potions is reduced of 50% if I don't mistake, and heal means instant death here.

After you kill Balrog, you'll notice that he says that you didn't actually defeat him and that he will be back.. this kinda explains the fact that you can fight it unlimited times! But.. it could mean something else. It could mean that, one day, the Balrog will be completely free from his seal and will wreak havoc in the world.

I haven't still done all the quests, because NEXON forgot to add some of the new NPCs, so I don't really know.. and.. well, one of them asks you to DEFEAT guess how many Balrogs? TWO. HUNDRED.

Yeah. Two hundred Balrogs. I don't know what the reward is, but it'll indeed be REALLY PAINFUL to defeat so many of them!!

Oh well.. I guess I'll complete this task, sooner or later, like I completed many other HARD tasks in MapleStory.

This video was (painfully) recorded by MYSELF, so don't mistake! As you can see they are many different clips of different runs.. with different people. That's because: started recording first run, then failed, so I stopped recording. Started recording second run and skipped the part I recorded in the first run, then failed and stopped recording, and so on, until the successful run, which is this one. Being on Vista I also crashed many times before this, but I found a tip to avoid that (alt+tab, never believed it worked but.. it does!).

It's suggested to watch in HD! Yeah, HD too. I'm so nice, I could've uploaded the high quality one and waste less time, but I want you to fully enjoy this run in high definition! Also, it's suggested to use full screen as well. It will be like you're playing! Haha.
